Located: From Hammond center, take Pacific Dr. west towards Fort Stevens State Park. The road forks. Stay left. Make a left on 7th Ave. This turns into 7th Dr. When you can no longer go straight, make a left on Russell Dr. The cemetery is at the end of the street.

History and Notable Features: The cemetery is not only residence to soldiers, but to people who have washed up on shore. Many of the interments are of soldiers who drowned, assumed to be caused by drinking too much and falling in the Columbia River.
