Location: Going north on Rt 272 from Norfolk Center, take a left on Old Colony Rd., cemetery on the left.

Condition: Very well maintained, obvious a cemetery in which the people of Norfolk take pride
History and Notable Features: This cemetery is on Connecticut's Freedom Trail. James Mars, former slave and abolitionist, is buried here with his father, Jupiter Mars (which, in my opinion, is a great name). The information plaque on Mr. Mars is in the pictures below alongside his headstone.
