Located: Near 190 Colebrook River Rd. From Winsted center, going north on North Main St./ Rt 8, it becomes Colebrook River Rd. Old Hemlock Cemetery is on the left just before Deer Hill Rd. Highly visible from the road.

Type of site: Baptist cemetery, still in use
Condition: It is well landscaped with only a handful of broken or fallen stones.
History and Notable Features: Although I did not know at the time of my visit, according to the Colebrook Historical Society, the grandparents of Ansel Adams, the famous photographer, are buried here.
